About Us

SprinTech, LLC

In 2020, Neil Holland founded SprinTech, LLC with inventor William Bickmore and Andrew Lemmon as the company’s COO (Chief Operations Officer).

Together, the team has proven Bickmore’s patent for releasing DNA from tough Bt spores in under 30 seconds. This revolutionary discovery aims to change the way the world works with PCR testing and move new technology into doctors’ offices using a patent pending (Bickmore and Holland) closed cartridge PCR system.

Neil David Holland, Co-Founder and CEO

Neil is a native of New Zealand who immigrated to the US at age 17 to attend the Church College of Hawaii (now BYU-HI). He graduated with a BA in History, and eventually joined the United States Air Force (USAF) as a helicopter mechanic.

After receiving his US citizenship, he attended Officer Training School and got qualified as a pilot, flying the T38 as an Instructor Pilot (IP). He went on to fly the F4D and the RF4C. He also flew the F15C, Eagle, as an IP. During his career in the USAF, he earned an MS degree in Aviation Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Neil retired after 23 years in the USAF and went to work for Boeing in Saudi Arabia, where he was Superintendent of the Royal Saudi Air Force, F15 aircrew school.

In 2000 he left Saudi Arabia and founded KiwE Publishing where he’s able to publish more than 80 books, including three of his own, using digital print-on-demand technologies.

Following 9-11, the USAF asked Neil to return to active duty for two years. This resulted in twelve years of additional service as he worked in special technology programs and was asked to extend six times. Following his USAF retirement in 2013, Neil worked as a Lab Manager for MetaShield and led the development of four products for the company to consider marketing. He then filled a contract for Boeing as a courseware writer for F15QA pilots in Qatar.

In 2020, Neil founded SprinTech, LLC with inventor William Bickmore. Andrew Lemmon was invited to become the company COO (Chief Operations Officer). Together, the team has proven Bickmore’s patent for releasing DNA from tough Bt spores in under 30 seconds. It is expected that this new technology will revolutionize PCR testing and move new technology into doctors’ offices using a patent pending (Bickmore and Holland) closed cartridge PCR system.

Bill Bickmore, Co-Founder and CEO

During the Vietnam War, Bill attended the Army Signal School at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, to become a specialist in classified communication equipment. After graduating, he served on a secure equipment maintenance team.

In Quin Nion Vietnam, he became Chief of Maintenance in charge of 24 specialists and engineers. His technical group was awarded three Battalion citations for excellence. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for excellence in leading his group in a project code-named Nester, which involved coordination with all branches of the US armed forces in Vietnam.

He graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance. Bill studied many subjects, including Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Philosophy, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, and Biology. He then managed a Bio-technical startup with three of his professors.

Today, that company employs over 1,000 highly technical people and is owned by General Electric. Working with the University of Utah, he led the team that created the first holographic memory drive for a consortium of the top 50 American computer manufacturers. He became Division Engineer for Del Monte Foods Mountain States Division, saving millions of dollars in fuel by upgrading to safer and more efficient boiler burners and significantly increasing plant output through control automation. The automated plant control became policy for the multi-billion-dollar worldwide company.

As the Manager of Designer Line, he rebuilt the failing company of 160 workers and significantly expanded it to over 400. It became number 1 in its marketplace, catering to “Fortune 500” customers. He was appointed the manager of the Artex international production facilities in Saint George, Utah, which was well known for its high standards and quality focus.

Later, he became the Corporate Engineer for Artex, which has $100 million in annual sales, improving efficiency and increasing product output. Co-founder of several startups, consolidated to produce Point of Care PCR machines. Over 30 patents in the PCR field were created. Twice a delegate to an international conference of the United Nations in Vienna on infectious diseases, to avoid their spread to the human population by using simplified PCR machines. Co-founder and CTO at Metashield for research into enhancing Solar Panel performance using silver Nanoparticle coatings for light traps. Co-founder of Sprintech, LLC, bringing a Patent for Ultrasonic Sonic PCR preparaƟon and successfully designing the electronics for their Sonicator
